| Sandeep Marwah of FFI Proposes Akshaye Khanna for the Second Edition of the National CINEKIND Awards 2026 |
Mumbai: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Vice President of the Film Federation of India (FFI) and Chairperson of the National CINEKIND Awards, has proposed inviting renowned actor Akshaye Khanna to grace the Second Edition of the National CINEKIND Awards, scheduled to be held on 4th October 2026 at the Jio Auditorium, Mumbai.
The prestigious National CINEKIND Awards are being organized by the Film Federation of India (FFI) in association with People for Animals (PFA) to recognize and celebrate films, filmmakers, artists, and creative professionals whose work promotes compassion, kindness, environmental consciousness, and the humane treatment of animals through the powerful medium of cinema.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah said, “Akshaye Khanna is one of India’s most accomplished and versatile actors. His understated performances, exceptional command over his craft, remarkable screen presence, and ability to portray diverse characters with depth and authenticity have earned him immense respect from audiences and the film fraternity.
