AAFT and Rotary E-Club of Winter Haven Celebrate World Rural Development Day at Marwah Studios

Noida: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), in association with AAFT and the Rotary E-Club of Winter Haven, celebrated World Rural Development Day at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida. The event was organized with the support of the AAFT International Skill Development Council (ISDC) and the World Peace Development and Research Foundation (WPDRF).

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the Rotary E-Club of Winter Haven and President of Marwah Studios, emphasized the importance of rural development in building a strong, self-reliant, and prosperous nation.

“India lives in its villages, and sustainable rural development is the key to inclusive national progress. By empowering rural communities through education, skill development, entrepreneurship, healthcare, technology, and cultural awareness, we can create equal opportunities and improve the quality of life for millions,” said Dr. Marwah.

He further highlighted that organizations like ICMEI, AAFT, ISDC, and WPDRF have consistently promoted education, vocational training, community development, and cultural exchange as effective tools for social transformation. He stressed that skill development among rural youth can significantly contribute to employment generation, innovation, and economic growth.

The participants also discussed the importance of collaboration among educational institutions, voluntary organizations, industry, and government agencies to accelerate rural development and ensure sustainable progress.

The program concluded with a collective commitment to support initiatives that empower rural communities and promote the values of education, self-reliance, peace, and inclusive development. The organizers reaffirmed their dedication to working towards the vision of “Love, Peace and Unity Through Art and Culture,” while contributing meaningfully to rural empowerment and nation-building.
