| ICMEI Conferred Patronship of Indo Mozambique Film and Cultural Forum on Mozambique High Commissioner |
New Delhi: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) conferred the prestigious Patronship of the Indo Mozambique Film and Cultural Forum upon H.E. Mr. Armando Pedro Muiuane Junior, High Commissioner of the Republic of Mozambique to India, during a special ceremony held at the High Commission of Mozambique, New Delhi.
The Patronship was presented by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and ICMEI, in recognition of His Excellency’s commitment to strengthening the friendly relations between India and Mozambique through art, culture, cinema, media, and education.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Sandeep Marwah said, “It is a matter of great pride to present the Patronship of the Indo Mozambique Film and Cultural Forum to His Excellency Mr. Armando Pedro Muiuane Junior. His guidance and encouragement will add tremendous strength to the Forum as we work towards enhancing cultural diplomacy and creating meaningful collaborations between India and Mozambique. At ICMEI, we firmly believe that art and culture are among the most powerful instruments for promoting love, peace, friendship, and mutual understanding among nations.”
Expressing his gratitude, H.E. Mr. Armando Pedro Muiuane Junior thanked ICMEI for the honour and appreciated the continuous efforts of Dr. Sandeep Marwah in using cinema, media, and cultural exchanges as bridges between countries. He stated that the Indo Mozambique Film and Cultural Forum would serve as an effective platform to deepen bilateral relations and encourage greater interaction between artists, filmmakers, academicians, students, and cultural institutions of both nations.

This Forum will further strengthen our cultural ties and create new opportunities for cooperation in the fields of film, media, education, tourism, and the creative industries. I am honoured to accept the Patronship and look forward to supporting this important initiative,” said His Excellency.
The Indo Mozambique Film and Cultural Forum, an initiative of ICMEI, has been established to promote cultural exchange through film festivals, exhibitions, seminars, workshops, literary events, educational collaborations, media interactions, and artistic exchanges. The Forum aims to foster stronger people-to-people connections while celebrating the rich cultural heritage of both India and Mozambique.
