New Delhi / Noida: In a landmark recognition of his unparalleled contribution to Indian cinema, media education, and cultural diplomacy, Sandeep Marwah has been nominated as Vice President of the Film Federation of India (FFI)—the apex body representing producers, distributors, exhibitors, and studio owners across the nation.

Congratulatory messages poured in from members of leading international organizations—representing a global family of over 50,000 professionals—including the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), Film and Television Club, International Film and Television Research Centre, International Public Broadcasting Forum, International Women’s Film Forum, International Children’s Film Forum, International Journalism Centre, Writers Association of India and the Asian Unity Alliance. The global fraternity lauded Dr. Marwah’s visionary leadership and transformative impact on the creative ecosystem.

Dr. Marwah is the Founder of Noida Film City, President of Marwah Studios, and Chancellor of AAFT University. He also serves on key advisory and leadership boards of the Government of India, including the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Ministry of Skill Development, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, MSME National Board of BJP, contributing to policy, standards, and capacity building for India’s creative and educational sectors.

A prolific creator and institution-builder, Dr. Marwah is credited as the producer of the largest number of short films in the world, in addition to producing feature films. New Delhi, 15th August 2025: On the historic occasion of India’s 79th Independence Day, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts and Mentor of the Centre for Education Growth and Research (CEGR), addressed the education fraternity and the nation with an inspiring message on the role of education in shaping India’s future.

With nearly four decades of unmatched contribution to the creative arts and education sector, Dr. Marwah emphasized that “Education is the key to success. If we want our country to grow at a faster pace, we must give a new look to education and approach it with greater sincerity and commitment.”
