Dr Sandeep Marwah Attends National Day of Islamic Republic of Iran as Chief Guest

New Delhi: The National Day celebration of the Islamic Republic of Iran was marked with grace and diplomatic warmth at Shangri-La Eros New Delhi, where distinguished dignitaries from India and Iran gathered to commemorate the historic occasion.

The event was graciously hosted by H.E. Mohammad Fathali, Ambassador of Iran to India, and was attended by senior diplomats, cultural representatives, and members of the international community. Ambassador Sibi George, Secretary (West), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, represented the Government of India at the Chief Guest of the ceremony.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios and Chair of the Indo Iran Film and Cultural Forum, had the honour of attending the prestigious event and interacting with members of the diplomatic fraternity. While speaking to the press, Dr. Marwah highlighted the deep-rooted historical, cultural, and cinematic ties between India and Iran.

Marwah said: “India and Iran share centuries-old civilizational bonds built on culture, art, literature, and mutual respect. Through the Indo Iran Film and Cultural Forum, we continue to strengthen people-to-people connections and creative collaborations between the two great nations.”

Dr. Marwah further emphasized the importance of cultural diplomacy in fostering stronger bilateral relations, especially through cinema, media, and artistic exchanges. He expressed confidence that collaborative projects in film and culture would open new avenues for cooperation between the two countries.

The National Day celebration concluded on a note of friendship and shared commitment to enhancing diplomatic, cultural, and economic partnerships between India and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
