Noida: The captivating documentary film “Hideaways Unseen Palau” was formally inaugurated by Meenakshi Lekhi, former Minister of State for External Affairs and Minister of State for Culture, Government of India, during the 14th Global Festival of Journalism Noida 2026 held at Marwah Studios.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr. Neeraj A. Sharma, Consul General of Palau, along with distinguished guests from the diplomatic, media, and cultural fraternity. The festival is one of the most prominent global platforms celebrating journalism, cinema, and creative arts.
Directed by Amber Sharma and produced by Mowgli Productions, “Hideaways Unseen Palau” beautifully captures the pristine natural beauty, marine biodiversity, rich traditions, and untouched landscapes of the island nation of Palau. The film highlights sustainable tourism and environmental conservation while showcasing the unique cultural heritage of the Pacific region.
Speaking on the occasion, Meenakshi Lekhi appreciated the initiative of presenting lesser-known destinations through meaningful cinema. She emphasized that such films strengthen cultural diplomacy and deepen mutual understanding between nations.
