Sandeep Marwah Announces Special AAFT Award for Acclaimed Filmmaker and AAFT Alumnus Luv Ranjan

Mumbai: Renowned filmmaker and producer Luv Ranjan, an illustrious alumnus of AAFT, will be conferred with a Special AAFT Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Indian cinema, announced Dr. Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor of AAFT University of Media and Arts and President of Marwah Studios.

Making the announcement, Dr. Marwah expressed immense pride in the achievements of the celebrated filmmaker.

“We are proud of our AAFTian, Luv Ranjan, whose remarkable journey from the classrooms of AAFT to becoming one of the most successful filmmakers in the Indian film industry is an inspiration for thousands of young aspiring filmmakers. His dedication, creativity, and ability to connect with audiences through meaningful and entertaining cinema have brought immense recognition to the institution. It gives us great pleasure to honour him with a Special AAFT Award,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah.

Over the years, Luv Ranjan has built an impressive body of work with blockbuster and critically appreciated films including Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Akaash Vani, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, De De Pyaar De, De De Pyaar De 2, Chhalaang, Wild Wild Punjab, Cocktail 2, Vadh, Vadh 2, and several other successful productions, earning him a distinguished place among contemporary Hindi filmmakers.

Expressing his gratitude, Luv Ranjan said, “AAFT played an important role in shaping my understanding of cinema and storytelling. The guidance, practical exposure, and creative environment I received at the institution helped me build the confidence to pursue filmmaking professionally. Receiving this honour from my alma mater is truly emotional and deeply meaningful. I sincerely thank Dr. Sandeep Marwah and the entire AAFT family for this recognition.”

Asian Unity Alliance Will Celebrate 2nd April as Asian Unity Day

The Board of Asian Unity Day Meets to Plan for 2nd April

New Delhi: A board meeting of members of Asian Unity Alliance was conducted under the President ship of Dr. Sandeep Marwah to design and frame the celebration of 2^nd April 2022 once again as   ‘The Asian Unity Day’ at   International Head Quarters in Noida Film City.

The representatives of different organizations like Asian Academy of Film and Television, Asian School of Media Studies, Asian Academy of Arts, Asian Law College, Asian Business School, Asian News Agency, Asian Institute of Hospitality and Tourism, Asian School of Business contributed their ideas of propagating the day and high lighting the purpose of the same.

“We are very proud of our organisation, it has done a commendable job and given untiring services to large number of countries which are part of Asian continent since its inception in 1993. The government of many countries have nominated us as their brand ambassador or cultural representative here in India,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah addressing the core committee of Asian Unity Alliance.

A poster covering all the flags of Asian country was released by Dr. Marwah to mark the respect to every country of Asia. The preparations are on for 2^nd April as Asian Unity Day.
