Dr. Sandeep Marwah Extends Greetings on Zambia’s Independence Day

Noida: October 24, 2025 — Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) and Founder of Marwah Studios, extended his heartiest congratulations to H.E. Percy P. Chanda, High Commissioner of the Republic of Zambia to India, and to the people of Zambia on the joyous occasion of their Independence Day.

“Zambia’s Independence Day is a proud celebration of freedom, unity, and progress. On behalf of ICMEI and the entire Indian media and entertainment fraternity, I extend warm greetings and best wishes to the people of Zambia,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah. “We cherish our strong friendship and look forward to building greater cultural, artistic, and educational collaborations between our two nations.”

The Forum aims to expand its outreach by creating new opportunities for creative partnerships, academic collaborations, and cultural dialogues with the Zambian community in India and abroad.

Dr. Marwah emphasized that people-to-people connect and cultural diplomacy are vital to fostering understanding and goodwill among nations. “Through films, festivals, and cultural initiatives, we can bring our countries even closer,” he added.

The ICMEI and the Indo Zambia Film and Cultural Forum reaffirm their commitment to promoting peace, friendship, and cooperation between India and Zambia.

ICMEI Celebrates Zambia’s Independence Day with Congratulations to People of Zambia

New Delhi, India – The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), alongside the art and culture fraternity of India, extends its heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Percy P. Chanda, High Commissioner of Zambia to India, and the people of Zambia on the occasion of Zambia’s Independence Day, celebrated on October 24th.

In a gesture of friendship and commitment to strengthening cultural and diplomatic relations, ICMEI has proposed the establishment of the Indo-Zambia Film and Cultural Forum. This initiative aims to promote cooperation and mutual appreciation in art, film, and culture between India and Zambia.

India and Zambia Will Together Work in Education

AAFT India and Copperbelt University Zambia Signed MOU

 

Busan: AAFT India and Copperbelt University Zambia have joined hands together to promote education in both the countries through their popular and expertise departments. A MOU was signed between the two institutions during World Education Forum at the time of World Cultural Camp in Busan South Korea.

 

“The Copperbelt University is a public university of choice established through an Act of Parliament No. 19 of 1987. Based 15km away from the Central Business District of the City of Kitwe, in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia,” said Prof. Sumbye Kapena of Copperbelt University, Kitwe, Zambia while signing the MOU.

 

“We are lucky to have another MOU with the country of Zambia during the same time when we are in discussion with many more Universities of the World. AAFT is an international brand in films, television and media with other ten more well established departments,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor of AAFT University.
