8th April - International Roma Day Celebrated




New Delhi: 8th April has been marked as the International Roma Day since 1971 when Roma People scattered in all the European countries and America commemorate this day.

Research Foundation International based in New Delhi involved in Roma Studies also celebrated 8th April as International Roma Day also the closing of World Roma Week started on Sunday, the 3rd April.

“We had workshops, seminars, readings, interactions and exhibitions during this week. Idea is to propagate about Roma to rest of the World,” said Dr. Shyam Singh Shashi writer and Chancellor of International Roma Cultural University at Serbia.

“In a span of 1000 years Roma has grown as Charlie Chaplin, Elvis Presley, The fact is that, ‘Adversity Causes some one to break and others to Break The Records’, said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and Chief Guest of the day.

Ambassador Vidya Sagar Verma, NRI Educationist S. K. Trehan, Pro- Vice Chancellor of International Roma Cultural University Dr. Nidhi Trehan, Poetess Sudha, Justice Santosh Khanna and Deen Dayal Agarwal also spoke on the occasion.

Later Sandeep Marwah distributed certificates to the students who all finished with their Roma studies. Dr. S. S. Shashi honored the guests & Sandeep Marwah for his contribution to Roma Cultural Studies.

Music CD Released by Ambassador of Italy to India


Noida: Asian School of Performing Arts has been quite active in inviting renowned musicians, dancers, theater artists now and then to have the feel of the market situation and trends.

It was a great occasion when School of Performing Arts in association with ICMEI- International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry released the music album of upcoming Italian artist Luigi at Marwah Studios.

“This gesture of taking pains of releasing the music CD of an Italian artists in India has added to our relationship through culture. I am sure many Italian artist would like to be the part of Indo Italian Cultural Forum,” said H.E. Lorenzo Angeloni, Ambassador of Italy to India while releasing the music CD.

“Music has no language, the emotions play a bigger role. I love Indian music and hope to be part of your next events too” added H.E. Lorenzo Angeloni, Ambassador of Italy to India.

“Indo Italian Cultural Forum will take more steps to develop and promote relations between the two countries. Luigi is a very talented artist and soon we will release his second album in India,” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios.

Noida: “We are out and out ready to support any artist be an actor, singer, musician, dancer or any other performer from any part of the World under our new policy to ‘Bring Whole World Together Through Arts And Culture’” said Sandeep Marwah introducing the guest at School of Performing Arts of ASMS at Noida Film City.

Luigi is an Italian artist after finishing his graduation and post Graduation from School of Music from UK formed his own music band. He is a professional stage performer, music composer along with his three partners in a famous music band called TENTH ELECTRIC.

Luigi and his band has recently produced and released two albums in UK Hell And High Water & Bones and preparing for the next one.

The interaction program for three days with the students of music brought new relations on the table. “I shared my experience with the young students of ASMS and in return I learned about Indian music and instruments. It was a fruitful exercise,” said Luigi thanking Indo Italian Cultural Forum for taking the initiative.
We are more than happy to be part of this workshop-expressed student of ASMS.

ICMEI Plans India And Croatia Student Exchange Program

Noida: “India and Croatia has wonderful relations. This relation we must take it to next platform by joining hands in promoting art and culture. We propose to form Indo Croatian Cultural Association,” said Sandeep Marwah President Marwah Studios and ICMEI.

International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry welcomed H.E. Amir Muharemi Ambassador of Republic of Croatia to India along with young film producer Eden who is here under student exchange program of ICMEI to learn the ways and means of Indian Film Industry and to study the working of a film school.

“My visit is fruitful as I am at Marwah house which is complete representative of Indian Film Industry. My orientation for Print News Paper, Radio, TV, Cinema, Fashion, Animation and management is so well planned by ICMEI,” said Eden a young MBA now working for renowned film company at Croatia.

H.E. Amir Muharemi invited students from India under exchange program and extended his best wishes for the successful completion of first program.

New Delhi: An exhibition of paintings, handicrafts and books made by the children of Katha organization were displayed at the Embassy of Serbia in New Delhi to support the organization economically as well as morally.

“It is essential to come forward and support these kind of social organizations so that children get motivated to do something in life who all have been otherwise ignored by the Society” said Vladimir Maric Ambassador of Serbia to India while inaugurating the exhibition.

World Roma Week Inaugurated by Sandeep Marwah at New Delhi




New Delhi: Celebrations of World Roma Week was inaugurated with great pomp and show by renowned media personality Sandeep Marwah organized by Research Foundation International at New Delhi.

“We are remembering all those who left India 1000 years back to settle in European and American countries also carried Indian art and culture and our way of life from here which you can still find in nationals of many countries” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and recently nominated as the Global Cultural Minister while inaugurating World Roma Week.

Indian customs are medically and spiritually fit, they bring love, peace and unity to the whole affairs. I am thankful to Padmashri Dr. Shyam Singh Shashi for keeping the chapter of Romas open in this education center” added Marwah.

We are thankful to Sandeep Marwah for the inauguration who has been the Chairperson of many organizations and associated with countries like Serbia, Romania, Cyprus, Slovenia and  Bulgaria  where our Indian friends are settled. AAFT Presented First Festival of Films From Nepal




Noida: A history has ben written today when first ever Festival of Films from Nepal was inaugurated at Marwah Studios presented by Indo Nepal Film And Cultural Forum, organized by AAFT- Asian Academy of Film And Television and powered by International Chamber of media And Entertainment Industry.

“What a grand and historical beginning of the activities of Indo Nepal Film And Cultural Forum which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Nepal Shri K.P. Sharma Oli during his first official visit to India last month and Sandeep Marwah President AAFT was nominated as the Chairperson by the Prime Minister himself” quoted H.E. Deep Kumar Upadhyay Ambassador of Nepal to India at the inauguration of the festival.

“India and Nepal relations are as old as Indian History but these kind of gestures will bring more love for each other as cinema is bundle of emotions. I congratulate INFCF for its efforts” added Ambassador.

The renowned actors from Nepal Sunil Thapa and Karishma Manandhar added a lot of glamour to the whole show. What a pleasure to be part of first ever Nepali Film Festival in India, I am touched by the action” said Sunil Thapa also known for his involvement with Hindi cinema. Sandeep Marwah is now the God Father of Nepali Cinema in India, I am sure his initiative will catch on and Nepal Film Industry will see a new light in his guidance” expressed Thapa a Nepali actor in 250 films.

“I am elevated with my participation in this festival. I will remember the love and respect extended to me for all time to come. I will suggest that there should be a branch of AAFT in Kathmandu,” said Karishma Manandhar recently been nominated the ‘Most Popular Actress of Nepal’.

An exhibition of paintings by two renowned artists Raj Kumar Sharma and Bhishwaranjan  Bhunia were also inaugurated on this occasion jointly by H.E. Deep Kumar Upadhyay, Karishma Manandhar and Sunil Thapa.

Later Marwah honored the guest with life membership of International Film And Television Club of AAFT. The festival was attended by large number of film, television and media professionals and students from all over India and abroad. Large number of Nepali from different strata of life also participated.
