World Environment Day Celebrated at ICMEI

New Delhi: “Nature is sending us a clear message. We are harming the natural world – to our own detriment. Habitat degradation and biodiversity loss are accelerating. Climate disruption is getting worse. Fires, floods, droughts and superstorms are more frequent and damaging. Oceans are heating and acidifying, destroying coral ecosystems. And now, a new coronavirus is raging, undermining health and livelihoods. To care for humanity, we MUST care for nature. We need our entire global community to change course,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah Chancellor AAFT University of Media And Arts in a webinar organized by International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry on World Environment Day.

“Human actions, including deforestation, encroachment on wildlife habitats, intensified agriculture, and acceleration of climate change, have pushed nature beyond its limit. It would take 1.6 Earths to meet the demands that humans make of nature each year. If we continue on this path, biodiversity loss will have severe implications for humanity, including the collapse of food and health systems,” explained Sushil Tripathi former Secretary Government of India Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas

“Let’s rethink what we buy and use. Adopt sustainable habits, farming and business models. Safeguard remaining wild spaces and wildlife and commit to a green and resilient future. As we work to build back better, let’s put nature where it belongs -- at the heart of our decision-making. On this World Environment Day, it’s Time for Nature,” added Dr. K. D. Gupta Chairman Environment and Climate Committee of ICMEI.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah earlier titled as Global Green Ambassador listed out the series of work, they have designed on the table as planning and performances at grass root level.

New Delhi: “Recognizing the great challenge that governments, employers, workers and whole societies are facing worldwide to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, the World Day for Safety and Health at Work will focus on addressing the outbreak of infectious diseases at work, in particular, on the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of World Peace Development And Research Foundation and Patron to IFUNA while addressing the staff of Marwah Studios on Webinar to remind the importance of the day 28^th April.

Concern is growing over the continuing rise in COVID-19 infections in some parts of the world and the ability to sustain declining rates in others. Governments, employers, workers and their organizations face enormous challenges as they try to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and protect safety and health at work. Beyond the immediate crisis, there are also concerns about resuming activity in a manner that sustains progress made in suppressing transmission

“The World Day for Safety and Health at Work will aim to stimulate national tripartite dialogue on safety and health at work,” added Dr. Marwah. The ILO is using this day to raise awareness on the adoption of safe practices in workplaces and the role that occupational safety and health (OSH) services play

Sandeep Marwah Represented India In World Peace Conference

Korea :August 2007:Universal peace federation representing peace ambassadors of all the countries in the world recently organized a World Peace Summit at Seoul, Korea The summit was attended by 350 top level delegates representing 192 countries of the world including 15 present or former premiers, first citizens & presidents of some nations.

From India renowned International media person Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios represented at the apex summit as an ambassador of peace The underlying theme and objective of the meet, was towards forming new alliances at a time of global crisis by resolving any differences of opinions emerging anywhere on the globe and helping the United Nations in its pursuit of establishing peace in the world as a whole.

We care Festival Celebrated 8th Edition in Mumbai

The first ever moving film festival of the World We Care on the subject on disability celebrated its 8th edition of the festival at Mumbai at Y.B.Chauhan auditorium with large number of unprivileged students present there.

The event was inaugurated by the dignities present there from different fields of life interested in promoting the cause of disability in India and abroad including representation from local NGos and institutions from Mumbai.

I am with the cause and would like to communicate to all those who are still unaware of the need to uplift this segment of society, we need more supporters to come forward” said Govind Nihalani renowned film maker. “A little awareness can minimize the disability problems if they are tackled at the first stage” said Parhlad Kakar, achiever from the field of Advertising who promised to make an ad for the cause of Disability.

“We are here to propagate the cause of disability through the biggest medium of mass communication-that is films, give unprivileged an opportunity and you will realize that they are part of our same community” said Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Academy of Film And Television (AAFT).

Film Maker Amole Gupte appreciated the event, Satish kapoor the founder of Brotherhood and We Care Film Fest requested interested people to sponsor more shows in Mumbai to highlight the cause of disability. Global Yog Alliance with 3rd Global Film Festival Noida 2010

The Alliance of all yoga federations in the World being operated from India under the name and banner of Global Yog Alliance has more than 100 countries to its account. The members of GYA from all over the World have join hands with 3rd Global Film Festival Noida 2010 schedule for November from 12th to 14th in India.

“It is our honor that the Alliance and with that all the federations of the oldest art of yog and yoga have joined hands with our 3rd Global Film festival. We Care Film Festival At Marwah Studios

Asian Academy Of Film And Television along with the social organization Brotherhood organized “Look Back We Care Film Festival” an event of films on Disability at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida. The collection of films on different issues of disabilities were projected to the large crowd, film and television students of AAFT,ASMS and ABS with an idea to evoke emotions towards people who are sometimes ignored by the community and society for no rhyme or reasons.
“We have joined hands with Brotherhood only to promote the idea of creating awareness towards disability” said Sandeep Marwah, President Marwah Studios. “We at brotherhood have pledged to promote our disable brothers and sisters to come forward in life and become independent” said Satish Kapoor, the Director of the Festival .The festival is supported by the information Centre of United Nation, National Trust, Shivkala Motion Pictures and International Film And Television Club.
“We have to look back into Hindi feature films like Black, Dosti, Tare Zameen pain, Koshish where a huge information is highlighted on disability” said Sameer Sen Chief Guest of the day and renowned music director who has given music to 150 feature films like Jalwa ,Arjun Pandit, Anari No 1, Achanak, Salakhen, Kartavaya etc. B.B.Choudhary IPS, Sanjeev Sachdeva, Rajeev Chandran of United Nation Information Centre, R.K.Singh former Engineer in Chief, Doordarshan, Raghaveddhiraa of Mangolore Port Trust ,Sharad Dutt of Channel P7 were the other speakers of the day. The program was followed by screening of 15 selected short films on Disability.
