ICMEI Extends Warm Greetings to Uganda on Its Independence Day

Noida: The International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) has extended its heartiest congratulations to Her Excellency Joyce Kakuramatsi Kikafunda, High Commissioner of the Republic of Uganda to India, and to the people of Uganda on the joyous occasion of their Independence Day, celebrated on 9th October.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI and Chair of the Indo Uganda Film and Cultural Forum, conveyed his warm wishes and highlighted the long-standing relationship between India and Uganda. “The friendship between our two nations continues to grow stronger each year. Through the Indo Uganda Film and Cultural Forum, we have built meaningful bridges of understanding using art, culture, and media as powerful instruments of collaboration,” said Dr. Marwah.

He further emphasized that Uganda has been an important and consistent partner in all major international events organized by ICMEI, including the Global Film Festival, Global Festival of Journalism, Global Fashion Week, Global Literary Festival, International Festival of Cellphone Cinema, International Documentary Film Festival, and International Food Festival, among others.

Dr. Marwah reaffirmed ICMEI’s dedication to strengthening people-to-people ties and promoting cultural diplomacy between India and Uganda. “Cultural cooperation paves the way for lasting friendship and development between nations. We are proud to have Uganda as a valued partner in our global mission of peace and cultural harmony,” he added.

Indo Uganda Film and Cultural Forum Celebrates Uganda’s Independence Day

Noida, October 9 – The Indo Uganda Film and Cultural Forum, led by Dr. Sandeep Marwah, celebrated Uganda’s Independence Day at the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry, situated at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida. The event honored the spirit of friendship and cultural exchange between India and Uganda.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of Marwah Studios, extended heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Prof. Joyce Kakuramatsi Kikafunda, Ambassador of Uganda, and to the people of Uganda. In his message, Dr. Marwah acknowledged the deep-rooted bond between the two nations, expressing his pride in the growing cultural partnership and the Forum’s ongoing role in nurturing it.
