| Sri Lankan Diplomat Thilina Galappatti Honoured at Asian Unity Day, Celebrating Cultural Diplomacy |
Noida, India | April 2, 2026: In a significant moment of international cultural engagement, Thilina Galappatti, Second Secretary at the High Commission of Sri Lanka in India, was honoured with the prestigious membership of the Asian Unity Alliance during the grand celebration of Asian Unity Day. The event was organised as part of the 10th Global Fashion and Design Week at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida.
The occasion brought together an eminent gathering of ambassadors, diplomats, and distinguished personalities from across the world, alongside a vibrant audience representing films, television, media, fashion, design, art, and culture. Addressing the audience, Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of the Asian Unity Alliance, highlighted the significance of Asian Unity Day as a platform promoting peace and unity through creative collaboration.
